Hard to believe we are just a couple of weeks away from mid-year. I feel like the first 6 months of 2026 have flown by! Here’s what I’ve been working on this week:

Jane Austen 250th Anniversary Quilt: I have been working on the last appliqué pieces which form the second interior border. These have a pieced border attached to them. I’ve gotten 2 done and I’m working on the other 2 so hopefully can get that next border attached to the main central square this week.

Lite Bright: The body is completely finished on this, so just the sleeves left to go. The pattern has options from short/cap sleeves all the way through long sleeves, and I think I’m going to go with elbow-length ones for mine. The yarn is 3 skeins of sock yarn from Hedgehog Fibres worked in a fade. Pattern is another great stashbuster from Wool & Pine.

Oscar Cardigan: A bit of progress on this one – I’ve started the first sleeve. While the pattern gives you an option to work these in the round, it means purling every other round, so I’m just going to work back and forth and seam these together.

Supernova Quilt: I finished putting all of the center stars together and now I’m adding on the striped diamonds that will completely finish off this section. It feels like the perfect project to be working on for Pride month with all the rainbows! Fabric arrived for the second month and I’ve started cutting pieces for that but I want to get this section completely done before starting the next (which will be one of the “spokes” of colored pieces coming out of the blue star.)

Bees and Blooms: Last but not least, I got the table runner I sent to the long-arm quilter back and it came out super cute! I think my mum is going to love it and it’s on the way to her for her birthday at the end of June.
