This week was really busy at work. We are a small team of 3 full and 1 part-time person, and one of those full-timers is out on leave enjoying time with her new little one – so that leaves a lot of extra to go around. However, I did get a chance to work on these things:
Tour de Fleece: I finished up all 8 oz of singles so Iโm ready to ply these together. I was thinking Iโd use a skein of a solid darker blue for a colorwork yoke kind of pattern but I remembered I also have 8 oz of a dark midnight blue Polwarth wool roving I could spin up to use with this. I probably wonโt get to that during the Tour but kind of making myself a mental note here to pull that out of stash this year at some point.

Next, I finished getting sleeves and body separated on Asterie and started down the garter stitch body itself. Iโm a bit further along than this and just about ready to start the body shaping. The pattern has a lot of customization options including bust darts (which Iโm not doing) and body shaping (which I am to make it a little less boxy.)

And finally my Sailing School Socks. I had the first one finished and the leg mostly done on the second last week. Iโve finished the leg, turned the heel, worked the gusset and Iโve got just a few pattern repeats and the toe decreases to do. I should have these finished up next week!

I have confirmation that some sample knit yarn has shipped so that should also be here this week and I can get started on those 2 projects at some point as well. Theoretically my sewing machine should be fixed and ready for pickup next weekend so fingers crossed for that!
Have a great week YOPโers!
