Here’s what I worked on this week:
Tea Leaves Socks: These are finished and I love them. The pattern is from Carlie Perrins and is the perfect mix of not-to-difficult stitch patterns that looks much more complex than they are to actually knit up. This not-quite neutral is Long Dog Yarn’s Sock in Riders of Rohan and I think it will be great with khakis or other things in the warm neutral palette.

Leaf Pile Table Runner: Still working along on the hand-quilting for this one, but all the leaves are done and I’m focusing on the sashing and borders now. Not exactly in the home stretch but closer for sure. I opted to go with big stitch quilting using a neutral eggshell-colored Perle cotton for the quilting on this.

The 100-day project/star hexagons: Still keeping up with my 1 hexi a day and we’ve reached day 50, so I’m at the halfway point!

Painted Plains Scarf: As I’m working through my basket of WIPs, this one was next to be finished up. I think I’ve got perhaps 4 more of the wide stripes to do (2 in the light blue, 2 in gray) before I run out of yarn to do a full stripe repeat. I would love to get this one finished up this week!

Ginkgo Dress: The current sewing project which I cut out last weekend and got quite a bit of construction done this week after work hours since my DH was out of town. I’m using a crinkle cotton that I’m thinking will be lovely and cool for summer wear. The color leans a bit more blue-green than the gray it looks like in this photo. This is a wrap-style pinafore from Madswell (on Etsy). I have the skirt panels ready to go but the bodice (which was the fiddly part) is done. I am running short on thread, but have ordered more of this color that should be here next week so I can attach the skirt panels.

That’s it for me this week YOP’ers!
