I picked this fun pattern up as a quilt kit from Pastry Shop Quilts on Etsy because I fell in love with the fun fabrics. It’s a pretty basic star pattern with sashing but I think the fabrics elevate it a bit.
There’s this fabric with robins and gold flowers and this alternates with a darker background fabric covered with bees. I really love the pops of gold in those small corner sashing blocks.
I sent this off to Matt at Randall Quilting for longarm quilting and I’m really pleased with the result. Matt suggested several good options and I wanted a quilt pantograph that was a bit whimsical so we went with a curved vine and daisy motif.

Overall I’m really happy with how this turned out and also really enjoyed the making process. There will be plenty more quilt projects in 2026!
