Year of Projects 2025-2026: Week 18

This week I managed to get the colorwork collar on Dyad and do the finishing of the front bands. Still needs the sleeves and a good blocking but the hard stuff is done and I’m hopeful I can cruise along on the sleeves.

I also worked on my Book Club cardigan and I’m at the point on the back where I’m done the raglan increases and I can just work straight for a while. Kind of kicking myself I hadn’t used this Blackstone Tweed before – I really like how it works up. (But isn’t that always the way?)

Also worked on The Autumn Garden for a bit, finished up the second tree, added one of the crows and started on the anemones. Just those and the sunflowers to go!

Hope everyone had a good week!

  1. I am thinking a lot about numbers, as in how many projects I can reasonably juggle. I like that you are paying attention to the progress along the way.

    1. I am feeling kind of at my upper limit of projects right now. It’s fun to start things but I don’t love lingering UFOs so it is a hard balance.

  4. That blackstone tweed really is pretty yarn. You’ve made lots of progress on your autumn garden so I look forward to the big reveal of the finished project soon. Will you frame it or it be a decorative cushion?

    1. It’ll be framed – I have a space on the mantelpiece where I put the other ones I’ve finished and rotate seasonally so this will get it’s spot there 😊

  5. Looks great! It’s really fun to see the different dyad collar options, too.

      1. I think I like the other collar better, but I generally prefer cabled collars so that’s not really a surprise.
