Happy Easter weekend if you celebrate that – and otherwise happy weekend 😊. This week I worked on:
Shimmer Sky Quilts: I got this pair of quilts back from the longarm quilter and they are ready for binding. I had Matt quilt them with similar but not 100% matching swirling star patterns. I’ll share more detailed photos once they are both done but I got the binding attached to the first one completely and have the second one ready to do the hand sewing part of the attaching. Hope to finish those up this week!

Tea Leaves Socks: I have 16 rounds left and then the toe on sock 2. Also hoping to have these done this week!

Leaf Pile Table Runner: This one has been languishing so I pulled it out this weekend to do more of the hand quilting on it. There’s 12 leaves and I have 9 of them quilted. Slow progress but some progress on that this weekend.

Sparrows Quilt: This is a relatively new project (I don’t think I’ve shown it before?) that I plan to make as a baby sized quilt for a donation. The pattern calls for 24 of these blocks but I may scale that back and do 16 or 20 instead. I’ll decide once I start assembling.

Not pictured but I got fabric cut for my next garment sewing project, the Ginkgo Pinafore by Madswell. This is a wrap dress with pockets and I’m making mine in a dark teal cotton. I’m going to try to start construction on it this weekend.
I’ve also been keeping up with my Star hexi a day project. Almost at the halfway point!

That’s it for me this weekend YOP’ers!
